Webex PC - Interface Overview

Interface

This is a basic overview of the Webex interface for PC. Specific instructions will be provided in other documents.

Search

From here, you can search the entire phone directory for a user or group. For instance, you can search Hunt Group to list all the hunt groups

Or search for an extension number (partial matches are supported):

Or search for first/last name

Once you see the result you want, simply click the handset  Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
 icon and select the destination:

Select either the Extension or the Work number. NOTE: Dialing either one will reach the correct destination. The only difference is how it shows up in your Call History

Call History

This tab will display all your recent calls. To view more call details, simply click on the call entry:

You can 
 
  1. Copy the dialed phone number by clicking Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Redial the same number by pressing Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Call back using a video call by pressing Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • NOTE: This will only work if the device they answer on has video call support (e.g. another Webex device)
  4. View additional options by clicking Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • From here you can:
      1. Edit the number before calling back
      2. Send email to the user (only if the number has a Webex account associated with it)
      3. Create a new contact with that number
      4. Add number to existing contact
      5. Delete the call entry
      6. Delete all call history
  5. View call record details (date, direction, duration, and time)

Contacts

This is where you can store personal contacts in Webex. This is only for your Webex account and is not shared on your physical desk phone if you have one.
 
You can add a contact or add a contact group

Dialpad

This is a view where you can use a traditional dial pad to place calls. Copy/Paste is also supported in the Search or dial field
 

Voicemail

Here is where all of the voicemails are listed for your extension. You can listen to or delete your voicemail messages from this view.
