On the main idle screen, press the Search button

 

Search for the user you want to add as a speed dial and select Submit

 

NOTE: You can search by extension, first name, or last name.

 

 

Highlight the user you want to add as a speed dial from the results list by using the up and down navigation buttons and press the middle navigation button to view the entry

 

 

Confirm this is the correct user and select Save

 

Make any desired adjustments to the contact card here and press Save again.

 

NOTE: This contact card is static so it will not synchronize with updates from the server (meaning any name changes or extension modifications will not reflect on this contact card, but those changes will be viewable on the Search function).

 

 

Confirm all the settings are correct and press Save one last time

 

The speed dial will now show on the screen with this icon next to it: 

 

On the idle screen, press the line key button next to the + icon

 

 

Press Add

 

 

Fill out the form. The only field that is required is the Contact field, which is where you put the phone number you wish the speed dial to call when pressed. If there is no first and last name, the speed dial will display as what is entered in the Contact field

 

Once you have filled out the desired fields, press Save

 

You will then see the contact directory with the speed dial icon 
 next to it and the entry will show up on your main idle screen.
