Printing From Mobile Devices

Problem

Need to print documents securely from mobile devices using the balance in your Pay-to-Print CASHNet for students. This feature is also available for staff and faculty.

Environment

This capability is available for mobile devices running iOS and Android. The apps are available for download from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Resolution

Uniflow now has an app available to allow direct printing from iOS or Android devices.

  1. Search for and download the uniFLOW Online Print & Scan app from either the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Once installed, launch the app from your device

3. Depending on your OS, your registration may show you a code or as for a tenant ID

  • If it shows a code, log into your uniFLOW account at myprinting.usj.edu then select Extensions from the left menu, then Connected Apps, then Add a Device. Follow the instructions onscreen.

  • If the next page asks for your uniFLOW tenant, enter usj.us.uniflowonline.com

  • 4. Once signed in, you will see a dashboard for your use

5. Select Print at the bottom of the app screen to choose a photo or file to print. Note: If you are printing a file from another app such as Outlook, Blackboard, OneDrive, etc. you will need to save that file to your mobile device in order to select it for printing. You cannot print directly from another app.
