Problem
Need to update/delete saved passwords in Firefox
Environment
Firefox browser on either MacOS/Windows
Resolution
Open Firefox
- Click the 3 horizontal lines icon on the far right.
- Select "Logins and Passwords" on the lefthand side.
- Locate the account you need to update the password for (i.e. MyUSJ).
- Select Edit(or Click Remove to Delete)
- You can view the password by selecting the 'eye' next to the password. Select it again to Hide it.
- Type in the new password.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click the "Close" button at the bottom right.
Cause
Passwords that expire/change or need to be deleted
