Problem
If the browser, Google Chrome, is not downloaded on the PC, some applications may not run properly, as they will not be supported.
Environment
All students, staff, and faculty, for personal computers. NOTE: This procedure should not be used for USJ owned computers, which will arrive with Chrome already installed and configured. If Chrome is missing on a USJ owned machine, please contact the Service Desk for assistance in reinstalling it.
Resolution
To download Google Chrome:
1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://www.google.com/chrome/
2. Click DOWNLOAD menu at the top
3. Click Download Chrome
4. Click Accept and Install
5. Follow on screen instructions to finalize install.
Cause
Many applications and programs need the Google Chrome browser.
