Problem
Unable to see Scroll bar on a Mac
Environment
MacOS
Resolution
Basic Solution
You need to make a minor change in the way the macOS handles scroll bars. In order to make this change, you need to go to the Apple menu in the top left corner of the screen.
On a Mac, scroll bars are typically displayed on the right side of a window when content extends beyond the visible area. You can change the default behavior of scroll bars in macOS to always show them, even when not in use, through the Appearance settings.
To always show scroll bars on your Mac:
- Close System Settings: The changes will be applied automatically.
- Open System Settings: Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner and select "System Settings".
- Go to Appearance: In the left sidebar, click "Appearance".
- Select "Always" for Show Scroll Bars: Under the "Show scroll bars" option, choose "Always".
This setting will ensure that scroll bars are visible even when you're not actively scrolling, making it easier to navigate content in various windows and applications.

The Solution
The solution is to force macOS to always display the scroll bars. In this way, you make it always possible to scroll horizontally in the Blackboard Grade Center.
