How to scan documents using your phone

As sometimes the printer may not work, using your phone can be used as a quick fix until the scanner on the printer works. Keep in mind, only use the scanner on your phone for documents that are non-sensitive. With that being said here are the ways to scan documents using your phone 

iPhone

1. Open your iPhone and go to notes.
2. In notes, on the bottom right, click on the pin and notepad icon.
3. Then click the camera icon. Then click on "Scan Documents" 
4. Then scan the documents by clicking the white button. Then hit save and either continue scanning or move to step 5
5. Click Save. 
6. then on the top right corner should be a circle with three dots in the middle and email the scan documents to yourself or to another user.

Android

1. Open your Android and click on the Google Drive icon
2. Move down to the folder you want that document and click on the plus sign on the bottom right
3. Then click the camera button that is label scan and scan document
4. On the bottom right click the checkmark on the bottom and wait for it to upload
5. Click on the document and the three dots on the top right and you can send a copy to anyone
