Quick Method (will capture the entire desktop across multiple screens):

  1. Press Windows Key + Print Screen Button(PrtSc) 
  2. Open an application you wish to place the image in (i.e. Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and press Ctrl+V or right-click and select Paste

 

If you want to capture only part of the screen for the image:

To use the Snipping Tool when you have a mouse and a keyboard:

  1. Press Windows logo key Shift S. The desktop will darken while you select an area for your screenshot.

  2. Rectangular mode is selected by default. You can change the shape of your snip by choosing one of the following options in the toolbar: Rectangular mode, Window mode, Full-screen mode, and Free-form mode.

  3. The screenshot is automatically copied to your clipboard. A notification also appears once you're finished taking a screenshot, select it for more editing options.

  4. You can now paste the image into an application

To use the Snipping Tool with only a mouse:

  1. To open the Snipping Tool, select Start, enter snipping tool, then select it from the results.

  2. Select New to take a screenshot.

Cause

If we want to check what is being displayed in a client's screen but the client is not aware of this tool.
