Setting up Google Chrome Sync
Open Chrome
Click on the
profile button
in the upper-right hand corner of the Chrome window
Click on
Sign into Chrome
Click on
Create account
When the next tab opens, click on
Use my current email address instead
Complete the registration form using your @usj.edu email address, then click
Next
Check your Outlook for the verification email from Google
The email may take a couple of minutes to arrive, or may get trapped in your Junk E-Mail Folder
Enter the verification code from the email into the box in your Chrome window, then click
Verify
Next, enter your mobile phone number to be sent a second verification code
Find the second verification code sent in a text message to your mobile device. Enter that in on the next screen
Complete the rest of the data in the form to finalize the registration
On the next page, you should choose to
Skip
additional enrollment for Google services
Scroll down and click on
I Agree
to the Privacy and Terms
