Problem
On July 31, 2024, the Teaching and Learning Center and the Office of Information Technology will upgrade our Blackboard environment to Base Navigation (often referred to as "Base Nav"). Students and faculty will notice a change to the homepage of Blackboard after logging in, but the look and feel of Blackboard courses will stay the same. If you use the Blackboard mobile app to access your courses, then you are already familiar with Base Navigation.

Cause
Blackboard is discontinuing its Legacy Navigation on August 1, 2024. The upgrade to Base Navigation will provide users with a more streamlined interface to access what they need.
