Put Call On Hold
1.
When on an active call, click on the ellipses button
2.
Select
Hold
from the menu to place the call on hold
3.
Call will now show as on hold
4.
If you minimize the active call window or are unable to find it, simply look for the
On hold
green label and click it to bring back the call control screen
Retrieve call on hold
1.
When a call is on hold, click on the
Resume
button to make the call active again
NOTE:
You cannot end a call that is on hold, you must resume it first to hang up the call
Transfer call on hold
1.
While a call is on hold, click the
Transfer
button
2.
Type the name of the person or number you wish to transfer to and click the transfer type.
is a warm/consultative transfer,
is a blind transfer
If you use the dial pad and mouse, you can see the type of transfer in detail at the bottom:
