First Time Login, Have you setup your Password?

About this service

As a new member of the University of Saint Joseph community, you will need to set up your account before you can use any of the services we use. To do so:

  • In a web browser, navigate to - myoffice.usj.edu
  • Log in with the user name/email and temporary password provided in the Welcome Email you received.
    • If you do not have this information, please open a ticket with the IT Service Desk.
  • Follow the onscreen prompts to enroll in MFA and set a permanent password. 
    • Your "old password" is in the Welcome email (usj-your_ ID_Number)
      • Password requirements -
        • 8 characters
        • At least one of the following:
          • Capital Letter
          • Numbers
          • Special Characters
        • No part of your username or First/Last name can be used
  • We strongly recommend you install and set up the Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone.

Once you’ve changed your password, you will be able to log into MyUSJ, USJ Email, Blackboard and all other services offered by USJ.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

* Blackboard Student access will only be available starting seven days from the start of class. Faculty Access will be available 14 days prior. 

* Some services may not be available for 24 hours AFTER you have set up your account.  if you experience trouble accessing ANY USJ offerings within 24 hours of receiveing the Welcome Email, please wait the 24 hours before contacting the IT Service Desk.
