How to set Email Alerts on your computer

Problem

Students, faculty, and staff have the ability to turn on or off Email Alerts in their USJ Outlook email.

Environment

All Students, Faculty, and Staff.

Resolution

First Step:

Go to Settings (type “settings” in lower left of your computer main screen in Search Box)

Go to System, Click Notifications & actions…

Make sure the top three main Notifications are turned “On” 

  Then scroll down and look or the Outlook application and make sure it is turned “On” as well.

 

Second Step:

Go into Outlook, Options, Mail, See Message Arrival

Make sure box next to Display a Desktop Alert is checked.

 

 

Cause

Email Alerts are a tool to help you see and manage your incoming emails.
