Problem
How to share a Microsoft Teams Recording video that you created.
Environment
USJ Faculty, Staff and Students
Resolution
When you clicked on “Stop Recording”, it compiled the video and put it to Microsoft Stream and a copy to the Chat Window.
You will also receive an email notifying you that the recording was now available:
To get to Stream, go to myoffice.usje.edu and login.
Look for a Red Arrow, that is Stream... Click on the Icon.
Here a sample of someone's content in Stream. The green square to the right means that I have shared it our USJ Organization. Otherwise it will be yellow to indicate you only gave a select group of people access.
Click on the video to get to more details…
Click the three elipses ( … ) to get a popup menu
Then Click on “Update video details”
Then, you can do one of two things.
- Check the box called “Allow everyone in your company to view this video”.This will allow anyone in USJ who has the link, to be able to view the video
- In the box that says “Search for People”, type in ALL the names of the people who will need to view this video.
Make sure to check the box next to their name ONLY if you want them to be an "Owner" and have ownership rights.
You can leave the box empty if all they need to do is View the Video.
Then above, click on “Apply”
