What is it?

Echo360 is the campus lecture-capture tool. Faculty can record their class from Echo360-enabled rooms or create and upload lectures from their own computer. These videos can be linked to Blackboard for students to access or shared with other members of the campus community.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Faculty and Staff can use Echo360 to create and share video content. Students can use Echo360 to view videos as part of a course.  In most cases, students should reach out to their instructors first if encountering a problem with Echo360, then the instructor can submit a ticket if needed.

Where Can I Get It?

Faculty can create an Echo360 account and course link automatically via their courses in Blackboard:   Creating an Echo360 course or account    Once an account is set up, users can download Echo360 Universal Capture to their device. Echo360 Universal Capture is installed on all classroom computers.

If you are experiencing issues, click on the Report Problem With Echo360 button to the right.

How Do I Use It?

Users can record video using Echo360's Universal Capture or upload previously-created video directly into http://echo360.org. Faculty can choose to link their videos to their course so the video is automatically shared in Blackboard.
