Problem
Due to file size limits in our Blackboard environment, the OIT and the TLC are currently reviewing existing content in Blackboard. To manage the total size of our Blackboard environment, we are not accepting any requests for new Blackboard organizations at this time.

Blackboard - faculty/staff access
Resolution
Faculty and staff who would like to request a space to collaborate with departments or committees should use another tool, such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive or MyUSJ. Submit a ticket to the Service Desk to request assistance with these tools.
Cause
Blackboard has an overall size limit for our environment to ensure that courses can be accessed and maintained easily. Exceeding the size limit can lead to additional charges from Blackboard. The OIT and the TLC can work with faculty and staff to store and share content in a variety of ways.
